Our client is a significant project management company, that is currently managing over $6 billion worth of projects in Australia, with offices in Sydney and Perth. The company specialises in the provision of services for major building and infrastructure projects in both the public and private s ectors from their initial concept development and feasibility phase through to their delivery and operational phases.

Due to ongoing projects and expansion in WA, we are currently looking for Project Managers to join the team in Perth.

We are seeking candidates who have had a minimum of 5-7 years of post graduate experience in design and/or construction areas of major building projects, with at least two of these years working as a project manager on a building project.

We are looking for candidates who have experience in the Contract Management of the primary Contractor / builder on a major building project. Other experience that will be highly considered includes:

• Project definition / project brief development;
• Stakeholder consultation and management;
• Design management;
• Development of procurement strategies,
• Development of contract documents,
• Procurement,
• Issues resolution; and
• Reporting to client managers.

Applicants must be self motivated “outcomes orientated” individuals with excellent written and verbal communication skills, appropriate tertiary qualifications, strong commercial acumen and a ‘hands on’ approach to Project Management.
