A global leading mining company with projects throughout Australia and Asia is looking for a strong Senior Mining Engineer to join their Perth based, Corporate team. The scope of the projects that you would be involved with though allows them to still offer a very good return for a Perth based role.

Notably you will oversee a multi-billion dollar greenfields iron ore project as it goes into production mid-2012. As one of two Seniors in an autonomous team of five, answering directly into the Tech Services Superintendent, you have will have the opprtortunity to make your mark on the team and be noticed.
 
You will be overseeing planning, scheduling, modelling and estimating while providing Production support over multiple Open Pit sites. You will also be covering other commodities ensuring that there is variation in your day to day tasks. 

The ideal candidate will bring 7-10+ years' Open Pit experience and tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering. Solid Mine Planning and Scheduling software skills also a must.
