Mining Engineer: Production. $147K - $116K. Unsupported?

    The role; -
    • As one of two Mining Engineers answering to a strong Senior, expect to be mentored through new tasks then given the autonomy to make decisions.
    • General production, contract management, pit design using Surpac, reconciliations and short term planning and implementation.
    • Plus contribute towards setting systems, procedures and standards for this new site.
    • Looking to bring someone in to move into Senior and beyond.
    • As one of the two sites comes into production in Q1 of 2012
      • Make tangible input into the team.
      • Influence the hiring of Grads
    The company; -
    • Emerging ASX-listed iron ore company
    • Allows exposure across all facets of Mine Engineering rather than getting assigned to a box like with some of the big boys.
    • No need to sacrifice the amenities - camp has all the mod cons you’d expect including ensuite rooms, Foxtel etc.
    You will have at least 2 years’ post grad experience in Open Pit environments and tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering. Strong Surpac skills and QM or the majority of your time towards one would put you ahead.
