This effective consultancy has a national reach, they are looking to strengthen their ties outside of Australia, and expand operations into the global market. The key markets of South East Asia and the old USSR are already identified, facilitating this move will be a number one priority.
You would know that over the last 6 - 9 months, there has been a lot of project work released, especially in contaminated sites.
With this increased project load comes the need for talented people and this is where you fit in. In collaboration with you, there is a Technical Principal at hand to look after the projects they currently have. The Mining and Petrochemical sectors taken care of, the Oil and Gas sector will be a strong focus of yours. So a mix of 20% technical work and 80% business development is on the cards.
The team currently has 8 specialists in contamination, ranging from Senior to strong Intermediates. The plan is to add another 5 - 6 scientists (specialising in contamination) to the team in the next 12 months which you will drive.
This interesting growth will open doors to new legislation and provide new techniques and methodologies for current employees.
