In this newly created role as Territory Manager for Western Australia you will have the opportunity to join a recognised, Australian scientifi c supplier. This role offers you a Base Salary range of $65,000 - $70,000 + Super (9%) + $20,500 Car Allowance + Commission + Tools of Trade. What you will be doing:

As a Territory Manager for Western Australia, you will primarily seek new business opportunities and manage and develop established accounts. You will build strong relationships with key decision makers across a variety of scientific disciplines including, but not limited to, industrial and life sciences. Your sales approach is customer focused, consultative and solution based.  Your target market includes both private and public research laboratories including biotechnology companies, academia, pharmaceutical, environmental, food, hospital/healthcare and pathology. You will utilise your passion for science and research, your technical aptitude and competitor product knowledge to position and promote both new and current products.

You must have to apply to this role:   

  • Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Biosciences or Life sciences. (will consider an exceptional graduate) 
  • Proven sales track record into laboratories in the Academia, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Environmental, Food and Clinical sectors.
  • New business driven with a concise understanding of the sales process. 
  • Strong understanding/focus on building customer relationships.
  • Strong presentation, organisation, communication, time management and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously

You will be highly regarded if you also have: :

  • Organised and presented at industry tradeshows and conferences.
  • Ambitious, results driven, go getter attitude
