Coastal Engineering
We are currently holding four vacancies nationally for Coastal Engineers at Senior / Principal / Manager level. These are based in Sydney, Newcastle, Perth and Brisbane. We are looking for candidates with the some of the following skills and experience:
Maritime Structures
We also have two key roles within Maritime Structures Engineering in Newcastle and Brisbane.
Candidates should have had exposure to large steel structure related projects and should have been employed for a period of over 5 years with recognised Maritime Consultancies. Overseas experience is much welcomed; however you must be able to demonstrate either a superior technical design skill within Structural Engineering or must have managed very large international port and maritime projects.

Coastal Engineering
We are currently holding four vacancies nationally for Coastal Engineers at Senior / Principal / Manager level. These are based in Sydney, Newcastle, Perth and Brisbane. We are looking for candidates with the some of the following skills and experience:
- An engineering degree specialising in environmental or civil disciplines with 4-20 years experience working in the field of coastal engineering, or a postgraduate degree specialising in coastal engineering with 5+ years experience in the field of coastal engineering experience with relevant engineering and spatial analysis software including MATLAB, GIS packages (eg. Mapinfo, ArcInfo) and specialist coastal, wave and hydrodynamic modelling packages such as MIKE 3, SWAN, Genesis, SBeach (or similar).
- A proven track record in the delivery of coastal engineering investigations and design involving coastal process, hazard definition and management, environmental assessment, coastal structures (breakwaters and seawalls), dredging and nourishment works, mooring analysis, marinas and canals and met-ocean studies.
- A demonstrated understanding of the latest science and policy developments in climate change as it relates to coastal engineering.
- An understanding of maritime engineering as it relates to coastal engineering including ports and harbours, jetties, wharves and berths, and other similar facilities.
- Previous exposure to project management, client liaison, mentoring other staff, report writing and review, and business development.
